Carly and Kia's big day

Wonderful, wonderful and even more wonderful. That is how I would describe working with Carly and Kia's family. It was a super, super HOT and humid day but the heat was totally tolerable because this couple was so great. Carly & her Mom Annie planned an amazing outdoor wedding in their yard on beautiful Lake Bella Vista here in Rockford. The was a huge undertaking since the groom's family is all from Australia and so they not only hosted a wedding but also had a gazillion house guests the entire week before. WOW! They had wedding coordinator extraordinaire Jennifer Lee helping with the event. She did a fabulous job! Everything was just stunning - the flowers, the paper lanterns, the candles, the parasols, the weather, etc. I had to apologize to Carly's Mom for gushing over what a great wedding it was - but it was just perfect. I don't think Carly & Kia ever stopped smiling all day - their love is just radiant. My assistant Kristine also had a great time and although we are both crazy about our husbands - the Aussie guys were not to shabby to look at! :-) Here are a few of our favorite shots.
