What a great way to spend a Saturday just before Christmas!

I have to admit I have felt a little scrooge-ish this holiday season - too much work and not enough time with my hubby and kiddos, but Brittany & TJ's wedding was just what I needed to put me in the holiday spirit! Their wedding was so beautiful & Christmasy and warm & fuzzy; the music, the hot chocolate & gingerbread cookies, Christmas trees, cute fuzzy muffs for the bridesmaids... everything was just wonderful! However, all the trimmings aside the best part by far was the spirit of the day. Trent and Brittany and both of their families had a wedding celebration that was Christ centered and a beautiful reminder of why we celebrate this time of year - the birth of our Savior Jesus! I was so touched so many times throughout the ceremony and the toasts during the reception by their genuine love and affection for their family & friends but most of all by their commitment to live their lives as a reflection of their walk with God.
