Happy Monday {Grand Rapids Portrait Photographer}
Happy Monday! I am such a creature of habit that I love the routine and sameness that Monday brings. I love that my husband goes back to work, my oldest goes to preschool and my nanny comes so that I can work. :) It makes me feel organized and the rest of the week seems to fall into place when Monday happens. To celebrate being on top of things I am giving away a $100 gift certificate today for the funniest Mom story or Mom moment. I will announce the winner on Thursday. (not valid with other offers, or if you have already won a gift certificate).
Some quick snaps of my little monkey.
She's taking a photo of me in this one with her fist and sucker camera - love it!

Funniest mom story. I have a one year old that learns new words everyday. So this day she had just learned the word, NO. Yes the word all us moms love. So that day in particular was a very rough day, no break to really speak of to just chill. So I finally turned to my daughter and said "Ava can mommy please have a break?" With the most serious look on her face, she points at me and says No Momma. My daughter had spoke that day I was not going to get a break.
2 Funny mom stories, but I hate to say that they are 22 years old (my baby turned 21 this past summer:) When I was pregnant with my son, my 4 year old daughter was probably the most curious and precocious little person you would ever like to know. She had asked me how the baby got in there and me, being a very honest mom, told her. Then she asked me if that was fun, cause it sounded pretty gross to her. When I was 1 week over due, I was in the kitchen and I shouted to my hubby that my water broke. She yelled back from the bathroom that the water worked in there so I should come in there for water. She's been that way forever and not she's a PHD student in molecular biology at UC SanFrancisco
