We love bellies!

I am always so excited when I get to do belly photos for expecting Mom's. They are so fun for a number of reasons - new Mom's to be love to be creative and do fun artisitic photography which is my favorite and then it is such a happy, joyful time - full of anticipation & hope! What an amazing thing to have a person that you created growing in your belly!! What a privilege to document such a momentous time in your life. This session is for my photographer friend Jennifer M. and she just looked so beautiful. Jennifer put it best after her little girl was born when she e-mailed me to say: "I kind of miss my belly, it looked a lot sexier when it was all big and smooth, not so much now that it is flabby with a giant, misshapen belly button :)" I felt the same way after Payton was born - the big belly is a lot sexier than the mushy belly. I was fortunate enough to have Jennifer do my maternity shots last year and I was so thrilled when she asked me to shoot her belly photos. Here are some of my favorites:
