Moms -help refugee families in Grand Rapids! Mommy & Me Photo Shoot

I am involved in a really great Moms group called Moms Inc. at Mars Hill Bible Church and I thought it would be really great if we as a group could help out refugee families who have relocated to the Grand Rapids area. These refugees were forced from their homes with nothing but the clothes they were wearing and through a program called PARA are now in the Grand Rapids area and doing their best to make this home. The needs of these families are great and I thought it would be really fun if Mom's in my Mom's group could help out. I am also opening this up to ANY and ALL MOM'S who may be interested in helping these families - they really need it!

So we are having a Mommy & Me photo shoot fundraiser!! I am asking any Mom who wants to do this to donate just $40 in the form of a gift card, cash or other donated items to the families (see other needs below). As a thank you for your donation I will offer anyone interested a free mini photo session with your little munchkin and a free 5x7 portrait from your session just for helping these families out - how fun is that? The photo session is just a fun incentive and if you don't want your photo taken and just want to donate to the refugee familes that would be awesome too!

Other material needs of the refugee families: kitchen items, dressers or clothing storage, towels & wash cloths, vacuum, phone, toys appropriate for a 10 yr. old girl, school supplies, single beds, toiletries, linens, etc.
